connect,  learn & share with parents like you

Are you a new parent who wants to...
- meet other new parents?
- make sense of the overwhelming, conflicting information on babies?
- make informed decisions?
- feel good about your parenting experience?

Empowered Parenting is a community-based program that provides new parents of infants and toddlers with a unique combination of education and support to help them navigate the first years of parenting.

Weekly classes are composed of a small group of parents, typically between 5 to 8 parents, with children born within a couple months of each other. The curriculum is tailored to each age group, ensuring that topics are age-appropriate and address challenges you currently face. Each class is designed to help you clarify your parenting intentions, understand your options and support the choices you make. You will learn about multiple approaches and available resources from the real experience of other parents, as well as the latest research and expert opinions. Most important, you will become part of a community of new parents

Children are welcome in the class. A variety of age-appropriate toys are also provided.
Classes take place in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, where there is easy street parking.
